NBA Betting: Learn How You Can Profit Always

With four teams left on the play board, the championship race for both Eastern Conference and Western Conference is almost drawing to its grand ending, simultaneously putting NBA betting at an all-time high. Yes, it is the National Basketball Association (NBA) post-season right now and we still have a balance of four teams looking for a slot in the NBA finals. Punters have just suffered a brutal upset as the Bolton Celtics saw an early exit thanks to the Orlando Magic team- which also tells you how widely open the next few games are going to be.

On the Eastern Conference end, we have the Orlando Magic pitched against the Cleveland Cavaliers. We would be hard pressed to pick a winner because while Orlando Magic seems to have the winning touch with 59-13 regular record, the Cleveland Cavaliers have a record of 66-16 regular season record. Furthermore, the Cleveland Cavaliers happen to have another super weapon, and his name Lebron James.

According to the Best Betting Web Site (bestbetting.com), Cleveland Cavaliers are indeed slated to be the favourites to win the first Game. Incidentally, Game One is also played at Cleveland’s home arena. Having said that, the odd difference against Orlando Magic is a mere 9/2, hence making it a difficult result to call.

Just to give you another clue on how challenging it is to guess the winning team, the series opening odds had the Cleveland Cavaliers originally at a whopping -800 odds whereas the Orlando Magic had +500 odds! Many have commented that it was probably the absence of Kevin Garnett from the Boston Celtics that lead to its early demise. However, the bottom-line is that the Orlando Magic beat the injury-riddled Boston Celtics in not one, but seven games to get to the Eastern Conference finals.

On the other end of the ring, we have the shining Cleveland Cavaliers who so easily disposed of both the Detroit Pistons as well as the Atlanta Hawks. Their trail of blazing glory has also broke records as this is reportedly the best regular season ever for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now that they have shown that the Cavaliers are a force to be reckon with, it is no wonder that many are placing bets on them to take the grand prize.

The Western Conference on the other hand has a hot showdown on its hands between the commercially successful Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. The Los Angeles Lakers have totalled a 65-17 regular season record whereas the Denver Nuggets have performed with a 54-28 regular season record. Even though the winner may seem clear, it is always good to remember that the absence of Yao Ming has actually caused the Lakers to work extra hard to get to the top.

As the Lakers nurse the loss of one of their key players, the Denver Nuggets on the other hand are lead by a cool team pair made up of Camerlo Anthony and Chunacy Billups. This dangerous duo easily disposed of the New Orleans Hornets and the Dallas Mavericks despite the drama and controversy surrounding the matches. Punters and gamblers alike beware, as the Denver Nuggets look in tip top shape this season and have earned the right to be the very definition of speed and athleticism.

As it currently stands, the opening series odds are pointing towards the Lakers to win the Western Conference over the Denver Nuggets. If you are fascinated in player betting, it is good to know that the player with the most points in either series is predicted to be either Lebron James, Kobe Bryant or Carmelo Anthony. Keep searching, reading and studying as the best time to commence NBA betting is in September or October.

Horse Betting System: Learn How You Can Make Money Now

If you want to make something work all the time, it has to be done systematically. This is the same for the horse betting system as well, as a big win at one race does not mean anything if you have an equally big lose at another race. Even more importantly is that besides getting a system that works, you also need to find one that is efficient and user friendly to implement quickly and effectively in order to increase your winning chances.

The good news is that the ideal horse betting system for you probably does exist, except that it requires constant vigilance and patience as you run through numerous systems. At your weakest moments, always remember never to let go of your system because randomly gambling bets is the same as throwing your money away, except probably costlier. At your strongest moments, do not be over confident either and think that any system will do the trick for you.

After all, aren’t there already a multitude of horse betting systems on the market as we speak? If you take a good long look at the market, you would realize that the old systems are quickly replaced by the new systems which are in turn very quickly replaced by newer betting systems- each stating that they are the ultimate horse betting system. This is all right, except that most of these systems simply do not work.

Frankly put, many of the horse betting systems you can find on the Internet are scams. They disguise themselves up with flashy websites and false testimonials with the hope of luring in chummy gamblers who don’t know any better. A guide for spotting one of these scamming sites is that they always come with a five rule, or fifteen step guide to winning at horse bets.

So now the question that arises is that how do you go about searching for their perfect horse betting system without turning bankrupt? The answer lies in betting- just not with real money. We suggest that you use fake money and place bets in simulated conditions as you test each and every horse betting system you trust.

Of course, the unsatisfactory part is that even if you do win a virtual game, you don’t actually make any profit. The good part is, you don’t lose any money either! So go ahead, don’t be afraid to be a kid again as you get out your monopoly money hidden away in your attic after so many years.

Remember, as good as a system may claim to be, and although the system does work for others, always take some time to first have a trial run with fake money. Furthermore, do not do this just one time- repeat this process for a whole week to make sure that the first win was not a fluke shot. The more simulated runs you do, the better your chances of gauging whether or not the system really does work for you.

Another thing you should look up on before purchasing a horse betting system is the reviews it is given- which is very different from fake testimonies some scam sites put up on their website. Besides that, do remember that any horse betting system, regardless of how ideal it is will still yield you a loss once in awhile. Take it easy as you search for your own horse betting system as do remember that horse betting should be fun, instead of being a chore.

A History Of Horse Racing

All around the world millions of people tune in to watch the Kentucky Derby horse race on their TV sets. The derby is a modern version of a racing sport that took place centuries ago. One can commence a history of horse racing by discussing that ancient sport of racing chariots but that does not give a full picture of how we view horse racing today. Nowadays people do not need to go to the Hippodrome and watch horses rushing violently around the track with chariot in tow.

I am sure you have heard of Henry VIII, king of England in the early 16th century. He is probably best known for his many wives. But he also had plenty of horses. The king would send agents on missions to Italy, Spain and North Africa to bring back those areas’ finest horses. His new additions would then be raced against other nobles’ horses. It is from Henry the Eighth and his races from which the phrase “sport of kings” likely derived.

Jumping ahead more than two centuries and crossing the Atlantic to England’s colony of America, horse racing became an institution, most notably in Kentucky. It was here that virtually every major settlement had a stretch of land off the main thoroughfare that was dedicated to racing horses. Moreover, Kentucky’s first Jockey Club had as one of its founders the famous statesman Henry Clay.

Kentucky is home to Churchill Downs, one of the best known tracks on the planet, where the Kentucky Derby takes place. Col. M. Lewis Clark, grandson of William Clark, the explorer, founded the track and named it after one of his uncles who was a major financial contributor.

The racetrack officially opened in May of 1875 and offered three races. The Clark Handicap was a race for any horse three and up. The Kentucky Oaks featured three year old fillies and the Kentucky Derby was the main event for three year old colts. These races still take place today.

During the 1950′s massive developments and improvements were made to the track. Barns were built with concrete firewalls. The grandstand and clubhouse were equipped with automated sprinkler systems. In 1954 film for replay of the races were put in to aid judges in determining winners.

Over the years, visitors have come from all over the globe to watch the strongest and fastest horses compete. Equines named Barbaro, Secretariat, Citation and Kelso are a few of the greats that will be remembered forever.

Sports Betting Systems: What Does Martingale Mean To You?

If you’ve ever been in a casino or talked to a bookie, you’ve heard the term “martingale.” Remember that the martingale system is not used in sports betting only, but in gambling overall. Actually, it is most well known for it’s use in the game of roulette, so I will use this example to explain to you how the martingale system works.

You will find two large bets in casino roulette: black and red. Let’s say you put $10 down on red, and up comes black. You are down $10. To attempt to make this cash back with the following bet, you throw down one more $20, this time on black. Should you hit this spin, you win your $20, covering your very first loss and putting you ahead $10. Should you lose, you’re down $30, and also the following bet will probably be $40. Should you hit that, you make your losses back again, and then some.

So, talking about your basic betting units, losing the 1, 2, and 4 and then winning the next bet, an 8, still puts you ahead 1 unit. If we follow this sports betting systems strategy down the rabbit hole, we can see that however many times you lose, betting in this pattern will eventually put you ahead. So there it is, folks, the answer to all your wagering woes – you’ll always eventually profit with the Martingale, right?

Providing you have an unlimited bankroll, unlimited time, and there are no limits where you are betting, that is absolutely right. That means you can flip a coin for eternity, with infinite money, and end up with a profit from the Martingale eventually. You can see that this doesn’t help for any of us betting on anything today.

We are playing with a restricted bankroll, which has a restricted quantity of time or games to play, and there will eventually be a limit on the table or the book. A much more successful technique that takes into account our restricted bankroll is really a sort of modified Martingale betting method. The 1st bet is 1 unit. Immediately after a loss, the second bet is 2 units. If we suffer yet another loss, the bet becomes 4 units. A win, obviously, resets the program. Just after that, we pack it up and call it a day, or alter games.

Like other sports betting systems, the Martingale system, explained above, basically works so that a bettor wins most of the time and gets clobbered once in a while. Many statisticians have attacked Martingale systems, but do concede they do work better with positive expected value bets.

I admit that I personally have had good luck using Martingale, and yes, I do practice it often. I have learned that when mixing my solid research on the numbers, using math from the Kelly Criterion, and betting in a three bet Martingale system, I do win regularly. Possibly a researcher could argue that I have been very lucky not to have been beaten down by an early losing streak, but I have never been hurt by a negative losing streak using the Martingale – fingers crossed!

If you enjoy the euphoric feeling of winning often, and pracitce solid money management, then I recommend you try the Martingale system, even if it goes against the advice of the numbers guys.

College Football Predictions: The Scientific Study Of Winning A Bet

If you know how to predict professional football games, chances are you possibly know how to do college football predictions as well. Be that as it may, there also several differences between the two. We will now review some of the most common differences between a college football bet and a professional football bet.

To predict the winner in a professional football game, the very first thing you need to do is wait until the draft is finished. Because it is impossible to predict which player will still be on the rooster after the draft has ended. Conversely, one does not have to wait for any draft to finish in college football because it is a simple matter of common sense.

The senior class will no longer be qualified to participate in college football once they have graduated. Therefore the remaining players will most likely remain in the football team, hence making your prediction still as accurate without having to wait. Be that as it may, there is still an off chance that the remaining student will not be present at the college football tournament the following year.

Perhaps the young player has been offered a spot in the NFL draft as a junior or a sophomore player. However, even if this should happen, the university is always first told of a team’s interest in the college player. Therefore, it is easy to predict college football because you will also know the college player who is about to be drafted out by the end of the current season.

Besides players, you need to also check if there is any change in the coaching. Typically, if the football program is consistently winning on a yearly basis, the coach will stick around for as long as it takes. Most decent coaches stay for decades before finally retiring from the football field.

A coach is the heart of the team, and hence cannot be ignored. is a vast difference because different coaches come with their own strategies and philosophies on winning the game. Hence it is important to take note whether the coach is pro-offense or pro-defense.

Returning to the subject of the players, you may now be able to guess next season’s line up of players. The players who aren’t seniors in the current season would definitely be staying whereas the students who are drafting out will also be known before you end a season. This gives space for guessing the quality of the new recruits for next season.

Luckily, you can also learn the capability of a potential player even before a season starts with the help of university representatives whose job is to go out and discover great high school talent. So now that you have the roosters completed, you next need to look at the football schedule which includes events such as the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The last thing you would need to do before finishing your college football predictions, is to predict the outcome of each game your team will undergo by doing research on other teams as well.
